You use it when the return format you want is an array of structs. asQuery will skip creating entities at all, instead returning the values straight from qb. This can result in a large performance boost depending on the number of records being returned. In 5.0.0, we stepped up the performance of Quick in a major way. Entity creation is now over twice as fast as before.
